When did mobile home manufactures start using shingled roofs?
Manufactured Homes July 14th, 2009I’m looking at buying a "2000" Fleetwood mobile home. It has a metal roof and metal siding. Is it probably much older than 2000?

Mobiles should have a label to show when they were made. Mine is inside a kitchen cupboard. Why don’t you call Fleetwood and ask when they started offering shingled roofs? Though of course it’s always possible that a previous owner put them on, regardless of what came from the factory.
