contact the trailer manufacturer ( there is an id plate riveted or welded to the frame) or a truck trailer repair shop they will have the sheet metal skin you need. then just remove the door and frame and frame in the opening, caulk and pop rivet the new skin on. Or maybe you would like a window there instead, again contact the manufacturer or an RV supply for a window and install that, either way it should be about a days worth of work.

Bad Dog has a good idea, except I would have said if instead of when. Unless you have it done professionally it will always look like a door was there. Especially if the exact aluminum is not available.
