what are the chances of being approved for a home loan, I was approved for a mobile home?
Manufactured Homes September 8th, 2010I was approved for 120,000 loan for a mobile home and land. What are the chances that I might be approved thru a real estate agency/bank? For a real home? My credit is NOT very good. I live in Texas. I need any info you have, I appreciate your time. I am a FIRST time home buyer.Also, I will have about 15,000 as a down payment.

Melissa, some people on here have no clue or class. Only a loan officer can answer your question. If you’re approved for the $120,000 to purchase, then what type shouldn’t matter. But do talk with your loan officer.

You might want to find a good realtor they will be able to help you with these questions and find you a lender
Hurry up so you can get your first time home credit, and a 15k down pymt will limit the amount of home you can purchase, but it’s a great start.
