We have found a floor plan we like, and we are wondering if anyone has any idea how much it might cost? It is 1,546 sq. ft. It has 4 bedrooms, 2 baths, and it is a one story home.

I have a mobile in Ft Myers FL am 60 years old and need to sell it I only want ,000.00 the home is 1000 sq ft with a triple size lot – lot rent is 0.00 per month which includes water, trash and lawn
I also have a 1996 Lincoln Town Car
Should I offer them as a package ?
Homewowners insurance is going down as Gov Christ Signed a bill lowering Home owners Insurance by up to 45%
Owner can only raise park rents by 3% per year and the park I live in is ONLY 0.00 per month right now and that included water, trash and lawn care — that CAN NOT BE BEAT !!!
My Lincoln Town Car gets from 17.5 city to 28 Highway thats NOT bad — the engine was just tuned and a mass air flow sensor was in stalled — It is a sweet car But I just got married and my wife has a newer car.
It rides like a dream and the back seat has NEVER been sat on and there have been NO bodies trnasported in the trunk

The house is in a park, not on private land. It’s a big one, 2400 sq.ft. I am current with the payments, but my job is making me move 500 miles away, I won’t be able to make payments on 2 homes. Is it better that they repossess it or foreclose? It’s for sale but the market doesn’t look good, homes have been for sale there for over 4-5 yrs. Renting is out of the question, I can’t afford the insurance they charge for a rental modular, and I don’t want it destroyed by the kind of tennants it would draw.

I am purchasing a new modular home at 2800 sq ft they are quoting to install hardwood floors at a cost of 31500 (11.25 sq ft). Should I get a local flooring company to install instead?

I am ready to plunge into the real estate market, and was wondering what the pros and cons of buying a manufactured home rather than a condo or townhome would be. Here in CA, a typical 1300 sq ft three bed/two bath mobile home in my area goes for about 0k – roughly half the price of a 0k 600 sq ft one bed/one bath condo. I realize that with mobile homes, one has to pay rent on the space- but condos and townhomes pay similarly priced HOA dues every month. I am a single guy in my early 40s. Any advice would be greatly appreciated- thanks!

My husband and I are considering buying a modular home (built from stick in the factory) someday. The whole idea sounds like a steal ie 2000 sq ft house for under 100K. Is there anyone out there who has bought a house like this? What are the pros and cons? It sounds too good to be true.

I live in Connecticut…New Haven County and we just bought our first home. We have a 1400 sq. ft. Ranch style modular home that was built in 1997.
During the inspection several weeks ago, the inspector noted that we have manufacturer defect asphalt shingles but that we had about a year before they needed replacing or overlay.
Today we walked into the kitchen to find water dripping from a small screw hole in the ceiling, so I have a guy coming out now to do an estimate. As a first time homebuyer, I have no idea what to expect regarding the cost.
Can someone provide a ballpark cost of a new roof? And ballpark cost of a roof overlay? We are broke from buying the house so I need to make sure I get this at a good price, which means knowing what a good price is.
Thanks!
Update: We don’t have central air so that could not be the cause of the leak.
One company just dropped by and quoted me k for an overlay or k to tear down and replace. Seems pretty high to me…

Has anybody bought a manufactured or modular home around Delaware? Does anybody know a manufacturer who is under 0 per square foot? What were your experiences?
Wait, I’m confused, that doesn’t make sense to me. Like, there’s no way I could go "Hmm, I think I’ll pay per sq ft." And end up buying a massive house for ,000.
o_O Pretty please explain how/why that works? ^_^ Thanks!

I am essentially in search for a one-story loft feel in a home, something around 1200 sq. ft. I cannot find any companies that are willing to build in Indianapolis.

I was shopping for a cheaper way to the American dream and come across some unbelieveable deals on Modular homes. Not cheap made homes, 2 x 6 Studs, 100% Insulated, Metal roofing, Crown Molding, Hand laid tiles. On par with most stick built custom homes for 1/4 the price. Very impressive homes usually around 1800 sq ft Heating and Cooled. Equals out to about .00 sq ft to maybe .00 for the top of the line models. Are they worth it and does anybody have a Sun Valley made by Deer Valley Home?

I live in a very expensive city (San Diego). I plan on being here for a while longer but don’t want to piss money away on rent anymore.
The only thing I can afford to buy out here is a manufactured home because a decent 500sq ft. condo or townhouse out here won’t go for less than 5K (yes I said 500 sq ft ridiculous, I know) and of course if I’m paying a mortgage, I want more room.
I grew up in the suburbs and know nothing about this.
Any info would be helpful.
