Ok so there are free lookups to find the values of cars, but not mobile homes? Im not about to pay someone 100 or more to have it appraised but..if I have to, guess I will. Point being, im trying to purchase a mobile home, its owned outright by my mom, her and her fiance are moving into a house. Its a 1998 Fairmont, 14×80 ft, 3 bedroom, 2 bath, EXCELLENT condition…They are wanting to sell for 13,000 but I want a loan for at least 18,000 so I can do some things to the house, and payoff a signature loan that has an awful interest rate…is this an unreasonable amount? Does anyone know off the top of their head if this type of home has 18, 000 worth of value in it, without looking…Just curious

My mom bought me a house, which I am currently renting from her. Anyways me & my boyfriend got into an argument & he punched a huge hole in the wall! I have always lived in houses, so I am unsure how to fix this hole! It’s about the size of a fist. The year of the mobile home is 2007, so it’s fairly new. It’s got the paneling? I think that’s what they call it.. my question, how do I fix it? Helpp!

Im a single mother and im currently living at home with my mom because I cant afford the real estate or rentals in my town. My aunt offered me a nice deal, she has a really nice little mobile home and she is asking me for ,000. I want to be able to get a loan with little or no money down but if neccessary i can put %10 down. I have perfect credit so it shouldnt be a problem getting a loan but my banks here in town dont want to finance mobile homes. What should I do?

My mom is buying a mobile home in a senior park (they pay space rent there) and she paid 18,000 in CASH. They said it will cost ,600.00 title fees but the seller will split it 0.00 each. This seems alot especially if she paid cash. Does anyone know about these charges?

My mom is looking to re-fi her mobile home and needs a co signer. a couple lenders I talked to said the co-signer must be a resident of the home, but the co-signer lives out of state. is this a requirement for all mobile home loans or just a few?
Additional details –
Co signer needed cuz step father passed and only income is mom’s social security and the pmts are too high. we don’t want her to lose the home

Someone is giving my mom a mobile home. How do I go about finding a lot to rent? Everything I am looking at seems to be for a lot AND home. Any ideas? It doesn’t have to be in Mesa, just somewhere near.

I live in an older mobile home and have found a good deal on a front loading washer and dryer but my mom thinks that because we live in a mobile home that the floors won’t be stable enough to support it. Right now we have a top loading washing machine and it isn’t that great. Just needing some opinions. Thanks.

I have had it with my unhelpful loan officer. He has told me and my mom for two months now that he is still in the process of finding a lender who will finance the manufactured home me and my mom want to purchase in the city of Perris, CA. Does anyone out there know of a lending institution that will approve us so that we can purchase this manufactured home? And yes, it is affixed to the ground on a permanent foundation.

im trying to help my mom look for floor plans and we are looking for a 3 to 4 bedroom house with 2 master bedrooms that both include there own bathroom. preferably on one floor and we cannot seem to find any. anyone know any good sites?

my mom wants to move. but the houses around where we live are too exspensive. so i thought a modular house would be cheaper. we live in new york. and we want to buy a modular house from G&I homes. its 1,800 + sq feet .
