I need a replaceable filter to fit in my return for a 2000 model single wide mobile home built by Claytom Homes. The return measures 25 wide 28 high and around 1/4 deep.
I have used Cut to size Filters by 3M by now can not find them at Lowes or Home depot.

I think we are being billed wrong for our electric in our mobile home in Arizona.
The mobile home is about 1,400 sq. feet. Please I am wanting to know the normal kilowatt hr. so I can compare it to ours and the average electric costs (mainly summer) so I know if our bill is about right or not. Thank you.

Thinking of purchasing a building lot and a mobile home to go on it. Can we put a basement as the foundation instead of just a slab? How different is the plumbing and such? (I imagine not too different?) Thanks.
Why would it be dangerous? Thanks again.

12 x 60 mobile home from about the 60s or 70s.
It has a metal roof that will have to be removed for the move.
If I decided to get this and move it the travel time would be a little less than four hours depending on traffic.
How much would the cost be to move this?

because they always so do not try to out run the tornado just get to the lowest level and middle of ur home. But i also hear mobile homes are dangerous because they do not have a stable platform and are easily toppled over, so does that mean if u leave in a mobile home and a tornado is approaching u better jump in ur car and run for it? i mean what are u suppose to do if u live in a mobile home?

Ok I am purchasing a mobile home and the roof has some leak issues, I was going to cover the whole thing with bitchutane and shingle it, but someone told me to use tar paper and shingles I have also decided it is too flat and needs a better pitch so what is the best pitch and the cheapest way to add one (single mom raising a 5 month old on a limited budget with a pretty good knowledge of construction, roofing etc)

We plan on moving our mobile home 35ft. forward and 10 ft. closer to one side, on our land. I don’t know if it makes a difference but we will be alot closer to the street and water meter after the move.

I am looking into getting a mobile home. It is about 20 to 30 years old and needs a lot of work. I just don’t know if the frame is still good. How long does it take before the frame starts to go bad? Does it matter how well the mobile home was maintained previously?

I am trying to buy a corner lot with a brand new two car garage and a 14×74 1977 Century mobile home. The property also has a brand new two car garage. It has been a second home to a retired couple and they have taken great care of the place. Every season this home has been serviced and while they are gone a local man takes care of the property for them. Its probably been better maintained than most stick homes in the area. They put in two new decks, new roof, insulated windows, air conditioning, plumbing, fixtures, and carpeting in the last six years. Not one bank or mortgage company can give me a name or number for someone who handles these types of loans. I have just sold my stick home in a nearby town. My credit is great and I have the 25% down. Any advice is hugely appreciated.

We moved out into our new home about a year ago because we had sold our mobile home. Well, the deal fell through, and now we’ve been making 2 mortgage payments for over a year, not to mention, still paying utilities, insurance, etc… on the old home. We have drastically reduced the selling price – to where we are already taking a ,000 hit just to get rid of it. We are at our end and cannot do anything else.
People keep telling us to just "give it back to the bank". Obvioulsy, this will hurt our credit score. Anything else? What are the consequences of doing this? We are not people who would have something go into a delinquent status, but so many people have told us to do this, that we don’t know if it’s our only option left. We just want to know the consequences if it were to ever come to this.

Looking at homes in the Queen Creek, AZ area. I’m trying to decide what is the better purchase. A mobile home with an acre of land or a regular house in a subdivision with no land. Having no land would mean boarding my horses out, but I’m thinking short term, hold on to the house for a few years when the market could go back up, sell and then buy something for long term.

Im a single mother and im currently living at home with my mom because I cant afford the real estate or rentals in my town. My aunt offered me a nice deal, she has a really nice little mobile home and she is asking me for ,000. I want to be able to get a loan with little or no money down but if neccessary i can put %10 down. I have perfect credit so it shouldnt be a problem getting a loan but my banks here in town dont want to finance mobile homes. What should I do?

I just purchased a lot that I am going to move a mobile home onto. The lot has a slope the farther it is away from the road. At the far end it’s about 6 ft below the road. I was told that I would need to have it leveled off to keep water from under the mobile home. I was told that it would be best to do this before moving the mobile home onto the lot. The thing is it’s really expensive and I can afford it right now. Is there anything wrong with leveling the lot after moving the mobile home onto it?

Does anyone know of any suppliers or organizational systems that can be installed into mobile home cabinets? My base cabinets don’t have shelves – just one big open area, and I’m tired of things being piled on top of each other and falling out! My pantry is also similar – big open spaces, and so deep I never can remember what’s way back there. I can’t afford to replace all of the cabinets, and the organizational systems (like pull-out storage racks) that I’ve found so far do not have small enough dimensions to fit in mobile home cabinets. So, I think I’m going to have to find something specifically created to fit in a trailer. Any suggestions would be great! Thanks

i have this mobile home im looking into or needing to do something with the roof! It stays extremely warmer in the summer even with the a/c on! Im trying to find some ways to help cool it!
My question is, can i put a metal roof on it directly without any support, directly on top!
Would this be too much weight?
