Why does it matter how big a house is? Bleh Too many laws and not enough freedoms with your land. So I suppose my only option is to buy land outside of city limits where zoning laws do not apply?

This house has been here for 30 years. I want to put a mobile/ manufactured home behind my current home. Is there already electricity & water – useable or will I ahve to arrange to have these put on the land again? Also what about the septic tank?

Here in CA, a typical 1300 sq ft three bed/two bath mobile home in my area goes for about 0k – roughly half the price of a 0k 600 sq ft one bed/one bath condo. I realize that with mobile homes, one has to pay rent on the space- but condos and townhomes pay similarly priced HOA dues every month. I am a single guy in my early 40s. Any advice would be greatly appreciated- thanks!
