How do you use a fireplace that's in a mobile home without burning the house down?

What's the best way to hang a wall hanging on a cheap mobile home wall?

I’m going to have to hang something on the walls in my room and the living room to block noise in a badly made mobile home. What’s the best way to hang them? My solution is nails, but my dad really doesn’t want holes in the walls. What are some other options? Thanks.

Mobile Home?

I’ve found a 1965 Columbia mobile home. It’s going for practically nothing, just the moving price. The home is in pretty good condition, considering its age. It’s a 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom, and it has an extended living room. The outside needs work, but the inside is really well kept up. The only problem it has is a leak in the roof.
I couldn’t find anything online to give me prices or help me know if it’s a good deal or not.
I was told it was just too old, but I’m not one to be picky I’m just trying to find a temp. home.
What do you think?

How can I heat up my mobile home as cheaply as possible this winter?

I live in a single-wide mobile home in zone 4, where it gets very cold, and the heating system for my home uses propane gas, which gets very expensive to run in the cold winter months, sometimes as high as 5.00 per month! Does anyone know about those electric machines that you put in your living room that heats up the whole house ( I don't mean "space heaters") that are safe, and do they cost a lot less money to run? I have already had my home weatherized, underneath it and the windows and doors, etc. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

What rustic color would look the best in a log modular home?

I have just purchased a log modular home. The walls in the living room are cream colored. One wall has log all along it. It is a light tint. Light is no problem. I want a clean/fresh look but also keeping in the log tradition. Can anyone help, Thanks…
