Im considering of purchasing a 5th wheeler in a year or so to live in.I am doing research on total cost.Im curious as to what a mobile home park would charge for year round stay.Im new to all this so trying to learn.Thank You!

We live in a mobile home park in Southern California and our electricity seems very high here. Even if we don’t run the A/C it runs about 0/month. The kilowatt hours for last month were 1306 and the total was 3.24. Does this seem high? Also on our bill it seems like we are billed for Edison and also from the park even though we get one bill from the park.

How do I find a used manufactured home that is not attached to a particular address already? I cant seem to come up with the right keywords to take me to a dealership, or whatever you call them. I tried "used" "pre-owned" "Pre-fab" "Manufactured" "Mobile" "House" "Home" "for sale" and every combination therein. I have a lot of land I want to put a house on, and am not trying to move into a mobile home park!

I know this guy who owns a mobile home park in pa. He has a trailer in there that has been abandoned for some time. Now he says he does not have the title to it and he is just going to give it to me. If I don’t take it he will just rent it out. I am alittle worried about moving in there and then have the place taken away from me. I know the original owner owes back taxes on it according to the owner of the park. What should I do?

If the residents of a mobile homeowners’ association vote to prohibit shareholders from renting out their units, is not the Board of Directors obligated to pass an amendment to the by-laws and regulation reflecting that vote?

The location is Florida, and the vote was 80% for prohibiting renting out units. The mobile home park is for seniors 55 years old and older.

Ok I started payments on a modular home in the modular home park.I am real uneasy about living in modular homes because tornadoes.Well when we purchased homes one of the selling points was the tornado shelters around the park.I had asked for a key while we was in the office signing the paper work on the trailer with manager.She said she have one made.I went back and she said she forgot,another time I went back and another lady was in there when I asked and she heard me ask for a key and the ladie said oh you are giving out keys to the shelter it was an elderly ladie.Anyways the manager on the site then replied she didnt have one made yet and now they will probably shut the shelters down due to them being to much of a liability.I dont want to live here if that is the case,the main reason I ok this whole deal was because of the 4 tornado shelters around the park.Now they are going to close them,she hasnt given me a key yet either.Is there any way I can just get out of buying this place
well that is what I thought that was one of the anemities of this place.I dont really like modular homes for the reason of tornados,and storm shelters was its selling point for me.I was tired of renting and this seemed like an alright deal not a trashy park,has storm shelters etc.I also complained about a huge tree in my yard well it started throwing branches and one about hit my car.I am so scared that thing is going to fall I went a complained about that but she said it was my responseability to pay for the tree to be removed?I dont own the land I rent it

They charge everyone the same whether there is 1 person in a home or a family of 6. Obviously the 6 people would use way more than 1 person but everyone pays the same. They put in new meters but they don’t read the meters, there isn’t any meter reading on the bill at all. The water bill comes from the mobile home park and not from the water department. Is this legal to do this.

We have a doublewide mobile home currently in a mobile home park. We are trying to sell it, and it won’t sell because it’s not on it’s own land. The mobile home park owner sold me the mobile home and said it has been abandoned for more that a year. The owners skipped out on the rent and never returned. 1. The mobile home is paid in full. I have a note signed from the previous owner saying this.
2. The lien was placed a long time ago because I was purchasing the mobile home in monthly payments from the previous owner.
3. In an apparent oversight the previous owner never removed the lien after full payment and now I can’t locate the previous owner.
4. The mobile home sits on a rented space in a mobile home park.

What can I do to get the lien off if I can’t find him?
