Ok so there are free lookups to find the values of cars, but not mobile homes? Im not about to pay someone 100 or more to have it appraised but..if I have to, guess I will. Point being, im trying to purchase a mobile home, its owned outright by my mom, her and her fiance are moving into a house. Its a 1998 Fairmont, 14×80 ft, 3 bedroom, 2 bath, EXCELLENT condition…They are wanting to sell for 13,000 but I want a loan for at least 18,000 so I can do some things to the house, and payoff a signature loan that has an awful interest rate…is this an unreasonable amount? Does anyone know off the top of their head if this type of home has 18, 000 worth of value in it, without looking…Just curious

Me and my fiance want to get a home, and the manufactured homes seem like a easy cheaper way to get a suitable home. Does anyone know how much they usually run though?

I’m in the market for a house. I’ve rented since I moved out of my parents, but the fiance and I are ready to move out of the apartment.
Has anyone purchased a modular home? If you did, why? If not, why not? Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

My fiance and I are looking at purchasing a pre-manufactured home. Can we add rooms on at a later date like on a regular home? We plan on making it a permanent home by setting it on a concrete foundation.

My fiance and I recently bought a 1995 Norris mobile home, and I would like to find a floor plan so that we can figure out things like flooring. I’ve looked everywhere I can think of online, and I really don’t want to sit and draw it out unless I absolutely have to. Is there anywhere I can find a floor plan?

My parents have retired and moved and now we have to find someone to take their old mobile home to either salvage or refurbish(and no, a box of matched has been suggested by my fiance already, is not possible). I have tried looking all over the internet for suggestions and each has been a dead end. We dont want any $$, we just want it off our hands. We live in South Denton Tx. Thanks in advance.

My fiance and I found a Mobile home for sale in the news paper and I was just wondering if there was a place I could price it and find the value of what it is worth for free. This mobile home is not on any land, it is just the structure it’s self and everything else I’ve come across has the land value added to the home’s price. I just don’t want to get gyped. Does anybody know of a place I can punch in some info and get a value?

My fiance and I are trying to build a home and it just seems that everytime we talk to the guy we have been dealing with the price has increased. I was just wondering if anyone else has ever dealt with this company and if they had the same type of experience or if it is just this guy?

My fiance and I are looking into buying a manufactured home (not a trailer) as our first home and we are wondering if anyone can give feedback on this company. They have wonderful floor plans and great square footage, but we are worried about their warranties and gaurantees. If anyone knows anything about Palm Harbor Homes, please let me know, any info is greatly appreciated! Thank you!
