Updating Drivers, Please help.?

Posted by Modular Homes on June 25th, 2011

I have a windows xp computer that has recently had windows xp re-installed so it runs faster and all that but the sound and no games work on it, because of no sound driver or video drivers. I’m not that worried about the sound driver but the reason i fixed this computer was to play games so here are a little details about the computer i found using DxDiag and can someone please tell me what to do. I’m only putting in details that i think would be useful.

Computer beeping when CPU number reaches 60?

Posted by Modular Homes on November 10th, 2010

I just got a new computer 2-3 months ago, now i have all games and programs installed and even if i run a very low game with low graphics like runescape or minecraft then it starts beeping the computer case not the speakers, if i don’t have any browsers/programs running then the CPU number is around 30 and is working fine, but if it goes up to 60 it starts beeping but computer still runs fine, nothing goes slower, and the beeping starts to frustate everybody already and its very annoying is there a way to disable it somehow in BIOS or anywhere? It runs everything fine no lag nothing

I don’t think that any Fan has stopped working because i can see all the fans on the computer case and it shows that they all are spinning
I’m gonna try to increase the temp, i don’t know if i can find it but im going to give it a try
I couldn’t find where can i change the temperatue to 75, i didn’t see any number "60" either in BIOS, there was only temperatue warning, something like that but they all were disabled already

BSOD problem. Fine in safe mode?

Posted by Modular Homes on January 20th, 2010

Anyone know what "BCCode 116" means in windows error reporting? I’ve been having issues with my graphics card (both updated and rolled back drivers–no help). I underclocked it and downloaded omega drivers and it seems to be doing a little better. This probably has something to do with the infamous nvlddmkm.sys error message I’ve been getting, as well. Thx in advance.

4g ram should be plenty for vista x64. http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/238760-44-memory-vista

I think the newest nvidia drivers are what got me in the situation i’m in to begin with. Nvidia 8000 series are notoriously buggy (didn’t research that when i bought the card). I also uninstalled all windows updates back to the date when I started having problems.
