This is for the land and every thing. None of the people that I have heard this from live in or have ever lived in a modular home. Is this ture? If so then on average how much less is it. I’m looking to buy a 3 bedroom 2 bath home. I live in Louisville, KY. I have priced regular homes the cheapst that can find in a nice nieghborhood is about 0,000. Could I get a modular home, including land and all the hookups for gas, electric and sewage plush a bastment of less then 0,000?

The only thing is that I've heard that modular's will depreciate in value. This doesn't appear to be true, because its just like a regular house after its built and you can't tell the difference.

It seems like alot of people are confusing the "modulars" with those "manufactured" low grade double wide homes.
Does this misconception about the differences really make the modular homes depreciate?
Whenever you go to sell it, do you just not tell people that they are modular since they are pretty much a regular house?
