Is it possible to join 2 single wide mobile home trailors?
Manufactured Homes August 5th, 2010I have 2 very nice single wide mobile homes and would like to attach them to make one large home. Add siding so on and so forth. And if it is possible how would you make the junction weatherproof?

remove the siding , build a frame attaching both to together, [into each wall]
add a roof on to the middle section,

Yes you can and you have to remember that once you cut the walls out of each side to join them to brace them back so you do not get sag where you cut out any studs. Make sure you use good level and brace it up where you cut it. Apply a roof over it and there you go.
Have seen people do this at the lake and many of them come out pretty god if they take care of the properly.

The easy "Fix" for this is plain and simple…
Put them side by side and build a foray between them
(3 feet wide 5 feet long, try and match up doors)
any "underbagger" worth their salt can see this is the way to go
