Is it legal for a landlord to ban bicycles in a mobile home park?
Manufactured Homes September 8th, 2010I live in a mobile home park and today one of the children crashed into a neighbor’s van- barely. Is it legal for the landlord to ban bikes from the entire park?

Yes, it is their property, they can ban pretty close to anything they want.

Yep. His park, his rules.
You are welcome to go live somewhere where they allow bikes.

it seems to me that he would need to have a "walk your bike through the park" policy for the people who don’t use cars and rely on the bicycle for their transportation. This way, they could still take their bike to do shopping, doctor appointments, or go to their job. I think it would be discriminatory to allow cars for transportation but not bicycles. Bicycles are legally allowed as traffic on the streets.
If we’re simply talking about kids playing on bicycles, though, that would be within the landlord’s right to ban
