I don't own one, but I have a relative that does. For the first couple of years, things were fine. Then things started breaking. A bi-fold door fell off its pivots. Water lines leaked. The stove broke. Electrical outlets stopped working. The carpet is full of wrinkles now, because it wasn't stretched correctly when it was installed.

In my opinion, these are built very cheaply. You might get a better price than a comparable stick-built house, but you'll pay more in maintenance in the long run.

Not a good investment compared to a regular home. A modular home will depreciate over time, sort of like a car. A stick built home will appreciate greatly.
