If I buy a mobile home in a park, do I need to fill out a rental application?
Manufactured Homes July 22nd, 2010I would like to buy a mobile home that is in a trailer park. Will I need to be approved by the park manager before buying it? I’m confused about how this works.

If you are not going to move it out, yes, you need to be approved to live and rent in the park.

In most cases, yes. You are buying the actual mobile home, not the lot that it is sitting on. That lot is owned by the trailer park and you will pay monthly rent on that. That’s why you need to fill out a rental application and go through the process.
You could move the mobile home to another park, but you’re still have the rental process to go through regardless.
