How much would it cost to ready some land for a modular home?
Modular Home Questions July 27th, 2010How much, approximately, would it cost to get my land ready for a modular home. I’m not sure how much land it is, but lets just estimate per acre on the leveling. We need to pour concrete for a 1600 sq ft home. We need a water well, and septic. There are electric lines right by us, we need to run electric. Basically anything that needs done before we can put out modular home on it.

No way to estimate. WAYYYY too many variables!
Ask the salesperson where you’re purchasing the home. They can figure all the figures for you in 15 minutes, at least WE can, here.
I’ll take a ball park guess of about $30K, but could go as high as 50, if you need an elevated septic system, which no one could ever know without actually being there, or knowing the makeup of the soil.
