How do you get started in the process of buying a mobile home?
Manufactured Homes July 27th, 2009I am 21 years old and have 2 children with my husband. I would like to take a look at purchasing a mobile home for us. How would I get started at looking into something like this? Who would i go speak to? Could I purchase a mobile home, then go find a lot to rent? Or do I have to buy a home that is already on a lot?
Any tips would be great!

I am a realtor in Tn. You can purchase a mobile home that is already setup on land by contacting any real estate agent in your area. In my area, there are mobile home sales that will finance you even with bad credit if you already own your own land. We also have a couple mobile home parks that have mobile homes for sale. You purchase from them and pay them monthly lot rent.
