How do I put a modular home on my land?
Modular Home Questions June 23rd, 2010I have an acre and a half (roughly) and I am wanting to put a modular home on it. This is just land that has not had a perc test, has not been cleared etc. I am sure it will perc but if not I can have another lot. So, my main concern is the water. I have no idea where to start and what order to go in. I have no clue as far as cost or how to find out.

Saanan is right but You will also have to visit your local city, village or town building department and see what water and sewer lines installed will cost. You will also have to inquire about property taxes,permits that will be required and surveyors will have to re-post your plot, this is to update records for the most part.

ALL your questions can be answered by a VISIT to a mod dealer in your area. (Not a phone call)
They do this all the time, and have answered those questions many, many times.
