How can I tell if my mobile home was once flood damage?
Manufactured Homes February 14th, 2010I have come to find out that the mobile home that I am renting-to-own is not actually owned by the company selling it to me. They have never put the home in their name. There is also a possibility that it came from a flooded area. The home has since been repainted and recarpeted, etc. I am awaiting a result in an investigation from DMV fraud investigators but would like to do some investigating myself. How would I tell if it has been flooded? Where would I look?

Look in lower cabinets and behind lower built in drawers. You would be looking for water stains. also look under the house if you can. also behind the stove and refrigerator.
