How can I get people to vacate a mobile home I own in Ohio?
Manufactured Homes November 15th, 2009My adult daughter lives in a mobile home I own. In February of 2006, she let a friend come live with her. This is not a romantic relationship. He was being evicted from his apartment with no money and no job, and my daughter felt sorry for him. The guy has only worked about two months the whole time he has been living in my mobile home. He pays no rent or utilities. I have no rental agreement with him. He is an ungrateful wretch. Both my daughter and I want him gone. Any suggestions?

i work & live in ohio so i am very knowledgible on ohio eviction laws..
first of all i would suggest offering him $200 to leave on his own, sign a note staing as much and your problem should be gone.
that dont work then start the eviction. the first part is very cheap, even free. by ohio law you must give him a 3 day notice to vacate the premises.. theres specific language that must be in it. you could find it on line. that might scare him out, especially if he has any type of criminal past he wouldnt want to go to court.
since he’s been there a couple months and there was no terms set when he moved in the whole thing is hear-say so you would have to file the forcible entry & detainer (eviction). email me at coegary@yahoo.com and i’ll see about sending you some info from my law office to get you pointed in the right direction.

easy evict his sorry behind. give him an eviction notice through the court. tell him he has to go, he has no money no job so this is what i say, give him 30 days notice to find another place, but begin eviction proceedings against him.

when hes out, get ur daughter to take fotos of everything in the home, the roof, inside outside….
just in case hes got a stupid idea of causing damage inside outside the home.. (take photos with an auto date imprinted)
if he did then u can take the case to the local police

Don’t need to get eviction order. He is trespassing . Call the local police and they will escort him out.

You need to do an eviction proceeding.

You need to evict him, just as you would with a renter. This is his legal residence, the police can not force him out without the eviction order.
Make sure she does it right away. After Feb she has to give him 60 days, not 30 since he lived there for 2 years.
