Has anyone ever purchased a home from the modular home builders called Handcrafted Homes?
Modular Home Questions June 30th, 2009My fiance and I are trying to build a home and it just seems that everytime we talk to the guy we have been dealing with the price has increased. I was just wondering if anyone else has ever dealt with this company and if they had the same type of experience or if it is just this guy?

I actually looked them up and it appears there are numerous outstanding complaints against them, as well as complaints regarding modular homes in general. Contact your States Consumer Affairs department and Better Business Bureau before jumping into anything. I also do not like anyone who is raising prices. Means in the end he/she is going to leave something out and before you know it you and your fiance are not only in debt, but without a home. He sounds like a snake.

dont do it i am in the business of loans and it is very hard to lend money or refinance a modular home
