does anyone know how much it costs to buy a modular home?
Modular Home Questions August 17th, 2009i have been looking at websites and they only tell you the actual price of the home.
there are other expenses though like transporting the home to the site, utility hook ups, taxes, etc.
i am interested in a 70-75K/1000sq ft home in the country surrounding the Columbus Ohio area. assuming the plot of land costs ,000 does anyone have a rough guess of what the total cost would be?
you really dont have to bother telling me to contact the manufacturer or dealer. thats kind of obvious isnt it? i would appreciate even a guess if it is reasonable and half way educated.

You can get some really nice ones for $100,000 or more. My father-in-law bought a double-wide and is paying about 85 thousand for it. But, you can also get those rat-a-tat singles for bargain basement sales too.
