Cost to prepare site for modular home??
Modular Home Questions June 10th, 2009I'm interested in budying a modular home. How much does it cost to prepare the site for electrical and plumbing and all of that? Is that something that is included in the modular home price? If not, is it 5K or 50K? I'm not sure where to find this info.
For example: Say you buy land for 50K and a modular home for 90K for a total of 140K on a flat piece of land….how much extra will you be paying to have your home up to 100%?

Molly, it depends on the site, the relatively level site excavated is about 1k, the ele 2500, the plmbing & septic is 3500, all the landscaping is up to you…shrubs,lawns flowers.
you usually have to pay to have a garage built which can be 11000 and what else do you want.
