I am wanting to move a 2 bedroom singlewide mobile home about a half a mile. The trailer is about 8 years old. I am also moving it in a area with lots of trees… don’t know if that will make a diffrence. I am not to sure if it is on wheels or an axel but i think it has wheels. Please anyone have any idea about how much it will run me. including.. teardown, moving, and set up.. also it has to be a board certified mover.. agian.. notsure if that makes a diffrence.

I lease property to hunt on in wilkinson county Mississippi. Purchased a mobile home for 1000 dollars and put it on the lease to use for a hunting camp. The electric company requires me to have a tax number for the mobile home to hook the power to it. Why do I have to pay taxes on a mobile home that is on leased land and is used for a camp?

As the question states, could you shed some light on the pro’s and con’s of going this route. I am thinking about it, and everything on the internet claims they are ok, but I would like advice from people who have actually gone this route. What would you have done differently all considering I guess?

Can you buy land and a mobile home on one loan, or do you need to get separate loans? I realize this sounds pretty stupid, but don’t judge.

My husband are looking for a used singlewide mobile home to move on to our property, but all the ones we’ve found on Craig’s List are outside of Iredell County. Does anyone know what restrictions may apply (siding, roofing, etc) or where to find them? Thanks.

Hi!
My Boyfriend and I have taken in a dog that was in need and now would like to rent a place with a backyard, but we are on a strict "college" budget. So I was thinking maybe we could rent a mobile home that would be cheap yet give us more space.
Does anyone know of a website that lists mobile homes for rent in the College Station area?
Or do you know any places available, and what the specifics are?
Thanks So Much!!

My late uncle died without a will, and his father left it up to my late uncle’s brother to take care of everything. My late uncle’s brother told me i could take control of the full size mobile home. The mobile home is over 25 years old with no title in the state of Alabama, and i am wondering if would be legal to write out a bill of sale to sell the mobile home to someone.

We are looking to find a way out of renting, but the homes in our price range are crummy or in bad neighborhoods. Would a manufactured home in a park be a good alternative to start us out until we can save for a down payment and work on improving our credit?

I really want to buy a mobile home from another state, however, I don’t know how much money it would cost to have someone drive the mobile home for hundreds of miles. The mobile homes I have looked at are all under ,000 and look really nice! I j/ don’t want to spend the same amount trying to get it here!

We currently own a commercial property with a shop (my husband uses for his business) and two apartments. We use one apartment we rent the second for 0.00 mth. We would like to purchase a mobile home because they are inexpensive but we are getting to old to go up and down the stairs of the apartment. We do not have the downpayment. The mortgage is with a personal company and is interest only payments, we will never pay it off, but plan to sell it, although we anticipate it will take a long time to sell because of location and economy.

Looking to buy a vacation home in West Palm Beach. Does anyone out there who actually lives in a mobile home in South Florida tell me how much to expect? The park is on the Intercoastal, I was going to buy for cash but now the douche bag owner raised the price so now I am going to look else where and may have to finance some of the purchase price and I am assuming that I will have to insure it. I am expecting the worse. Please only answer if you really know a number.

I need to reinsulate under my mobile home but have come up with many different ways of doing it. One of the ideas I have is to take foam board 1 or 2 inch thick foam board and rip it to fit in between the joists and glue it to the subfloor then strap it. I have heard though that it is flammable and cannot be exposed. It would be good though because it is much easier to work with then fiberglass. and no animals can get into it. Does anyone have any better solutions

I bought a 16 x 80 trailer in the beginning of June. The home that was initially old to me had already been purchased. The mobile home company sold me another home that needed a ton of repairs. I was promised the repairs would be done in a timely manner, but I haven’t seen or heard from anyone. One of the problems was the house sweating, and now I believe mold is starting to develop. What should I do? Can I seek legal council for this situation, or do I have to just grin and bear it?

Ok so there are free lookups to find the values of cars, but not mobile homes? Im not about to pay someone 100 or more to have it appraised but..if I have to, guess I will. Point being, im trying to purchase a mobile home, its owned outright by my mom, her and her fiance are moving into a house. Its a 1998 Fairmont, 14×80 ft, 3 bedroom, 2 bath, EXCELLENT condition…They are wanting to sell for 13,000 but I want a loan for at least 18,000 so I can do some things to the house, and payoff a signature loan that has an awful interest rate…is this an unreasonable amount? Does anyone know off the top of their head if this type of home has 18, 000 worth of value in it, without looking…Just curious

I’m considering buying a mobile home, with no air. I live in Michigan and must have a/c in the summer. How much roughly do you think it would cost to have it installed? Also, can it be installed if there is no air already? (they have units in the windows which i’m sure is expensive in the summer).

I am trying to sell a trailor and the park owner has a history of turning down minorities. She turned down my buyers because they had too many kids and it is illegal for five kids and two parents to live in a 3 bedroom mobile home. Is this correct or is she just using it as an excuse?

i rent a private double wide mobile home on landlords property. we share his well water line and thats all he gives. Does he also have to maintain the electrical wiring and outlets? The fuse box trips if I put too much on, such as vacuuming and the stove or other electrical devices are running. The fuse box looks like a mass of wires hanging out of it. the mobile home is old and has a plywood floor, is that legal?

My mom bought me a house, which I am currently renting from her. Anyways me & my boyfriend got into an argument & he punched a huge hole in the wall! I have always lived in houses, so I am unsure how to fix this hole! It’s about the size of a fist. The year of the mobile home is 2007, so it’s fairly new. It’s got the paneling? I think that’s what they call it.. my question, how do I fix it? Helpp!
