Generally, loans on manufactured homes of that age may be handled by VA,( though I am unsure) but you may still have trouble getting a mortgage company to go along with it. Often though, if you look you can find a good deal on a new home and avoid some of the issues you see in older homes without incurring a substantial increase in cost.
I, of course sell new, used and repossed homes, and can tell you that it is MUCH more difficult to get a used home approved thatn a new.
