Are the utilities already ready for a mobile home to be put on it?
Manufactured Homes April 10th, 2010I live in a house and have more land behind the house. This house has been here for 30 years. I want to put a mobile/ manufactured home behind my current home. Is there already electricity & water – useable or will I ahve to arrange to have these put on the land again? Also what about the septic tank?

You should be able to extend water pipes to supply a second home unless you’re on a well with not enough flow. Talk to an electrical contractor about the electricity, no one here can tell you about that without a lot more detail. You’ll probably have to have a separate septic field for the mobile unless your current field is much bigger than your present house needs. That’s a question for your local health department.

Don’t arrange anything until you check with the zoning board to see if you can do what you want.
