anyone ever bought a modular home and moved from one trailer to another whats involved?
Modular Home Questions September 17th, 2009own our land have a trailer buying a modular home and want to know the moving process do i have to store furniture and then move in or do they leave the old home close to make moving easier

Ask the folks doing the freight and installation. They can tear down the old and temp move it on site while installing the new home. But moving a modular full of furniture can be a problem — weight, shifting, exposure if it’s a double-wide. All of which can mean damaged furniture.
Of course, you may have to make arrangements to have the old home completely out of the way before the new one can be delivered.
